There are places that seem to stand apart from time.
Permanence is a quiet watercolor painting of an historic Traverse City Commons structure. Soft washes, restrained line work, and a limited palette allow the structure to emerge gradually from the landscape, focusing less on architecture itself and more on the feeling of endurance it carries.
This Stoney Bend Original reflects an interest in the buildings that remain while seasons, generations, and surroundings continue to change. I made this intentionally understated, to allow space for memory, observation, and personal connection.
