Each Stoney Bend art piece is done by hand, without any computer-generated drawings. All artwork is original and crafted entirely by me, ensuring you are purchasing a true one-of-a-kind art piece. The process begins with light pencil work to get the perspective and scale correct. The rest of the piece is done in ink. Stoney Bend Classic pieces are architectural ink drawings for a clean look, and shaded in grayscale to create greater contrast, depth, and a realistic quality. Stoney Bend Studio pieces start the same way but are finished in watercolor to capture the memory and atmosphere of a place.

Each Stoney Bend print is produced as a signed, limited edition from one of my original drawings and paintings. Every print is individually hand-signed and numbered, with only a small number created before the edition is permanently closed. It’s my way of keeping each piece personal while creating artwork that can be collected and enjoyed for years to come.

Each art piece is hand-assembled and signed when you place your order. I try to ship it out as quickly as possible, but it may take a few days to reach you. Stoney Bend is a small company (it’s just me!), so I do my best, but your patience is appreciated. It will be worth the wait. Custom commissions will take a bit longer to complete.

I keep my artwork small and consistent in size for a few reasons. All works are usually 5x5 or 4x5. The original piece is close to this size, and I don’t shrink it down when photographing the original. I find this size fits nicely in the frame and creates a visually appealing scale (at least to me and hopefully to you too). The 12x12 frame is ideal for small spaces and accents. You can also purchase multiple prints to arrange on a larger wall. It’s just the right size and makes for the perfect gift for any hard-to-shop-for person in your life.
