A drive to the northern most tip of the Old Mission Peninsula takes you through rolling vineyards, turn-of-the-century farms and constant views of Grand Traverse Bay. The Mission Point Lighthouse has guarded the bays since 1870 and is a true Northern Michigan landmark.
 
This Stoney Bend Original uses soft atmosphere, subtle detail, and layered washes were used to capture the calm stillness of the shoreline as the day is beginning.
