A quiet piece of Grand Rapids’ industrial past, captured just before change arrived.

120 Stevens is a look at modest industrial building that has served many purposes over the years. Weathered by time, surrounded by encroaching trees and standing in the path of progress, the structure remains a quiet reminder of the city’s working history.

Rendered in fine ink and muted gray watercolor, the painting captures the building just before its renovation. Simple brickwork, aging windows, and an unassuming silhouette speak to the character of places that often go unnoticed until they begin to change.

Presented in a warm white matting and Heritage Oak wood frame, 120 Stevens is a one-of-a-kind work from the Stoney Bend Originals collection.
